How to guard your children against visiting non-trusted web sites?

The Internet is almighty and looks like a boundless ocean where anyone may dive into with no limits concerning both depth and safety. The latter touches both the computer security and the user morality especially if you've got under-age children. Absence of censorship in the Internet promotes the adult content diffusion among children but due to the Parent Control feature of AVS Firewall you guard them against the X-rated stuff and protect your computer from malware that is usually embedded in the adult content web pages.

Click the AVS Firewall system tray icon to make its window visible:

Or choose AVS4YOU -> System Utilities -> AVS Firewall from the Programs section of the Start menu in case AVS Firewall is unloaded.

Make sure you are on the Main Page then click the Parent Control switcher to set it to ON:

You will be suggested to assign a password. Click Yes:

Enter your password and its confirmation then click OK:

Press the Parent Control tab, click the Add URL button:

You will be asked to enter the password. Enter the password then click OK:

Now enter a URL or site name which should be available through a browser and specify a comment, if necessary, then click Add:

Note: bear in mind, you add the trusted URLs and sites, all others that are not specified in Parent Control are treated as non-trusted and won't be available through a browser.

Note: if you want to exclude a URL or site name temporarily, you needn't remove it, just uncheck the corresponding item with the mouse click then click the Apply changes button.

Enumerating the trusted sites one by one in the Parent Control, you can be sure that nobody of your children will access any other ones.
