Installation

On Windows XP/2003/Vista the user must have system administrator privileges. Before running installation you should install the latest video card drivers from the card manufacturer web-site, configure your system for high colors or better and enable hardware acceleration (use Control Panel > Display > Settings > Advanced, after that in the opened new window select the Troubleshoot tab and move the Hardware Acceleration slider all the way to the Full).

Double-click the file that you have downloaded. Follow the instructions step by step and the screensaver will be installed. When the installation is finished, a program group will be automatically created in your start menu (Start > All Programs > AVS4YOU > ScreenSavers). You can run the screensaver from there or use the display properties to select the installed screensaver.

System Requirements

AVS Screensavers work under Windows XP/2003/Vista. They use OpenGL/DirectX and require that hardware acceleration is enabled in the display properties for optimum performance. Please make sure the latest drivers with OpenGL/DirectX support are installed for your video card.

  • Platforms:  Windows XP/2003/Vista (no Mac OS/Linux support)
  • Processor:  Intel / AMD compatible at 1300 MHz or higher
  • RAM:  256 MB or higher
  • Video:  3D video accelerator with 64 Mb of RAM
  • HDD:  2 MB of free disk space
  • OpenGL 1.1 or higher

Recommended System Requirements
  • Platforms:  Windows XP/2003/Vista (no Mac OS/Linux support)
  • Processor:  Intel / AMD compatible at 1700 MHz or higher
  • RAM:  512 MB or higher
  • Video:  3D video accelerator with 128 Mb of RAM
  • HDD:  10 MB of free disk space
  • OpenGL 1.1 or higher
