The black and white list is one of the AVS Antispam filters to protect you from importunate and worthless emails but it's you who define the way it works; that's why it is of 100 % efficiency in case if you did not mess up anything (for instance, added a trusted e-mail address to black list). The task is easy to do – you will see it following the guide steps.

Click the AVS Antispam system tray icon (in case you enabled the program autostart while installing) to make its window visible:

Or choose AVS4YOU -> System Utilities -> AVS Antispam from the Programs section of the Start menu in case AVS Antispam is unloaded.
Press the Black & White lists tab, make sure the Use black list is checked. Type an untrusted e-mail address in the editbox below then click the Add e-mail button. The address will be added into the corresponding table:

Stay within the same page window, make sure the Use white list is checked. Type a trusted e-mail address in the editbox below then click the Add e-mail button. The address will be added into the corresponding table:

Note: using the white list is more reasonable because usually spammers generate their addresses randomly, so there is a little probability that you will receive spam from the same e-mail address again.
Now due to using the black and white lists you can be sure no trusted email will be treated as junk and no previously noticed spam will income again.
