AVS Video Converter v.6 - Markers
The Timeline tool allows you to put Markers to help you in applying effects and editing your movies. Using markers can help you visually control working with files, but the basic purpose of using markers is splitting (Splitting).

To add markers:
- Step 1: The markers buttons are available when you open the Edit Input File(s) window, in case you close them click the Markers
button to bring them back. After that put the timeline cursor at the position where you'd like to set a marker.
- Step 2: Click the Add button located. The added marker will be shown on the Timeline as a green (inactive marker) or red (active marker) rhombus.
Note: in case you select several input files and click the
Auto Add button in the
Edit mode, markers will be added automatically at the beginning of each file.
To delete marker:
- Select the marker you want to delete clicking it with the mouse.
- Click the Remove button to remove a marker or right click this marker and select Remove from the express menu.
- To remove all the markers press the Clear All button or use the appropriate option of the express menu.
You can also add markers while editing your DVD menu after pressing the Menu button on the Main Toolbar. Here you can add markers by dragging the slider and pressing the Add button.

When you edit several files at once or work in batch or merging mode, it might be useful to use Auto Add button. Markers will be added automatically at the beginning of each file.
