AVS Capture Wizard - Watching and Capturing TV Channels
You have also a possibility to watch and capture TV using AVS Capture Wizard. To do that you should press the Tune TV button situated under the preview window at Step 1:

In the opened window you can select Country and TV Source:

To scan for channels automatically, click the Autotune button.

It'll take a couple of minutes to tune channels, after that they will appear in the list on the right hand side. The channels with a good signal will have a certain mark nearby and will appear in the Channel dropdown list under the preview window at Step 1. You can easily navigate through them using the arrow buttons or clear the channels list:

If you'd like to capture video from TV, you should proceed further. For that click OK to close the Channels Configure window and then the Next>> button. At Step 2 you can set the output file parameters:

The output file name and its location can be specified at Step 3. Here you can also split the captured file by size or time and set start/stop capture parameters:

At Step 4 you can begin, stop or cancel capturing the TV channel by pressing the appropriate buttons:

Here you have still a possibility to switch between channels in the Channel dropdown list or tune them by clicking the Tune TV button.
Note: if you'd like to watch TV with conveniece using advanced features, find a certain channel by entering its frequency or schedule recordings, you should use our
AVS TV Box software.
